Narrow, one sided, shiny vintage horsehair braid in off white, made in Switzerland. Braids like this were used to make an entire hat, crown and brim, plus embellishments. Sometimes a wire or buckram form was used for structure. Switzerland has been the premiere manufacturer of millinery braid for centuries. 

This braid can be used for many other creative projects be it decoration or foundation.
