This is the original glitter! Made for over a century in a small town in Germany. It's made from crushed glass, coated with silver and dyed into gorgeous colors. Our "sterling" color is not dyed, it's real silver, which will oxidize in the air, causing it to eventually turn very dark, but still sparkly. There is nothing else in there, no fillers, no sand, just gorgeous, sparkly glass glitter! I mean really, really, sparkly.
Just so you know, it is not plastic, nor made from synthetics like the modern stuff is. Just don't get it near your eyes or in your mouth, it's tiny shards of glass, it can tiny cut you!
Our fine glass glitter is a 90 grit, and the chunky is a 70 grit.
