We love a paper mache cachette. The French Tradition of giving a gift, or in our case a stash, in a secret box disguised as something else.
Just look at these amazing metallic foil covered "boxes" in the shape of a beet, complete with long green foil leaves, and stringy roots. The box separates by gently unwrapping the string from the leaves and genlty pulling the sides apart. Now it can be filled with a small gift, chocolates or non-pareils.
Can also be used as an ornament when closed using the string to hang.
Cachettes measure approx 14" long, with a 3" diameter beet.
